The Austrian bass, Ewald Nagl, was a longtime member of the Grazer Domkantorei and other ensembles (Cantus Graz, A Piú Voci). Theological studies at the Karl-Franzens- Universität Graz. He received his first singing lessons with Gerd Kenda, and studied singing at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz with Elisabeth Batrice, Martin Klietmann and Christine Whittlesey.
Ewald Nagl has appeared in concerts in Concerts in Steiermark (Styria) and Austria: including the Musikverein für Steiermark (Progetto-Concerto der KUG, W.A. Mozart's Six Nocturnes, Four Psalms by Edvard Grieg). He particpated inb in the Styrian Festival Psalm. He has performed in different Passions: Georg Philipp Telemann, George Frideric Handel and others, Jesus in Johannes-Passion by J.S. Bach (BWV 245), Reinhard Keiser and Heinrich Schütz, including involvement in the Styriarte Festival and the Styrian Autumn as well as CD and radio productions. |
