(Helsingin Sanomat 4/2002)
"I can recommend Elina Mustonen's recording of the English Suites to listener's who want a no-nonsense, straightforward, and musical reading of these compositions."
(American Record Guide 7-8/2004)
"Stunning, ecstatic harpsichord. The 15 Scarlatti harpsichord sonatas are both entertaining utility and sophisticated art. They are simply bursting with invention, instrumental brilliance, melancholy and powerful drama. Harpsichordist Elina Mustonen is a magnificent virtuoso with an expressive force that stuns the listener from the very first moment. She has a superb grasp of the structures and moods of Scarlatti's music and conveys her visions with clarity."
