Concerto München (Baroque Ensemble) |
Founded: 2016 - Munich, Bavaria, Germany |
The Baroque ensemble Concerto München has earned an excellent reputation in the few years of its existence. Founded in 2016 by the organist and harpsichordist Johannes Berger, the young original sound ensemble always delights audiences and the press with its refreshing virtuosity and infectious joy in music-making music.
It is the outstanding potential of the individual musicians and the high level of mutual appreciation that make the international ensemble unique. Renowned awards and prizes, such as the Bruges Early Music Competition, the Biagio Marini Competition or the Grand Prix Bach de Lausanne, confirm the top-class line-up of the individual members. Concerto München regularly works with well-known choirs and vocal ensembles such as the Tölzer Knabenchor or the Heinrich-Schütz-Ensemble Vornbach as well as leading soloists. |
