The German choral conductor, Michael D. Müller, studied music education in Würzburg and Lübeck. In 2002, he completed his internship at the Johanneum of Lübeck with a high school musical branch, with the 2nd State Exam. By the summer of 2006 he taught music at a high school.
Michael D. Müller serves as Marienkantor in Lübeck since 1999. His mission is the artistic and organizational leadership at the Lübecker Knabenkantorei an St. Marien. The Lübecker Knabenkantorei an St. Marien with Müller as their Drector, won in May 2010 the 2nd Jury Prize as the best boys choir at the the 8th Federal Choir Competition of the German Music Council in Dortmund.
In addition, Michael D. Müller worked as a freelance conductor and as a lecturer in choral and choral directing courses.
