Vienna Morphing Orchestra - former Morphing Chamber Orchestra (= MCO), but renamed due to its big success as a larger orchestration - was founded in 2006 by music producer and violist Tomasz Wabnic who is the Artistic Director of the ensemble.
Since 2006 Vienna Morphing Orchestra challenges itself with diverse projects of a wide range of repertoire from classical music to film music, jazz and contemporary music. The ensemble engages and collaborates with world-known artists such as Aleksandra Kurzak, Roberto Alagna, Bobby McFerrin or Andreas Scholl, Joseph Tawadros, Valeriy Sokolov, Frederic Chaslin and composers like Arvo Pärt, Krzysztof Penderecki.
The key aspiration of MCO is their approach to perfection in performance combined with flexibility and creativity of interpretation and repertoire. Their life paths have crossed in Vienna’s music world where they came to master their skills
Each performance of Vienna Morphing Orchestra reflects their joy of creating music, performed at the highest, worldclass level.
