Angelica Morales von Sauer (Piano)

Born: 1911 - Mexico
Died: April 16, 1996 - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA

Angelica Morales von Sauer was a professional concert pianist. She made her debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker at age 13 and her New York debut at Carnegie Hall in 1929.

Angelica Morales von Sauer taught at the Mexico City Conservatory of Music. Then, in 1955, she came to Kansas University as a visiting associate professor of piano. She became a full professor in the Department of Piano in 1958, the position she held until she retired in 1973.

Angelica Morales von Sauer was married with Emil von Sauer, and had two sons, Julian von Sauer and Franz von Sauer.
