The German choral conductor, Gerhard Möller, began his singing training as a boy singer in the Windsbacher Knabenchor; at age 17 he received singing lessons at the Nürnberger Konservatorium and then studied German literature and music education in Stuttgart, with a focus on singing (Professor Georg Jelden, Professor Thomas Pfeiffer) and choral conducting (Professor Wolfgang Gönnenwein and Frieder Bernius).
In addition to his own singing activity as a singer in the Kammerchor Stuttgart, Gerhard Möller gained professional experience with the Stuttgarter Hymnus-Chorknaben (choir assistant and voice training) and as a long-standing choir-master of the Evangelischer Kirchenchor at the Pauluskirche Fellbach and in Schwieberdingen He is currently a music teacher and director of the Kammerchor and ELFEN-Chor at the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium in Markgröningen; since the beginning of 2005 he is also director of Fellbacher Vocalensemble. |
