Tomas Medici (Tenor)

Born: 1974 (?) - Denmark

The Danish tenor, Tomas Medici, began to sing early at Copenhagen Drengekor. In 2001 he completed his solo training at the Royal Academy of Music in London and began his freelance career in Denmark.

Tomas Medici is a member of chamber ensemble Ars Nova Copenhagen (Director: Paul Hillier) and also works as a soloist in concerts at home and abroad. Together with Paul Hillier's Theater of Voices, he sang J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) and Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) in Scotland, Estonia and Latvia. Recent engagements include also J.S. Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) with Copenhagen Drengekor and Zealand Symphony Orchestra on Christmas 2007.
