The American counter-tenor and artist manager, John McElliott, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Akron (1987-1992).
John McElliott is President of Karen McFarlane Artists, Inc. (since October 1999) in Cleveland, Ohio. Karen McFarlane Artists manage the performance careers of more than thirty of the world's leading concert organists (pipe organ) from the USA and Europe, in addition to offering only the finest British and American Choirs in the English Choral tradition on tour in North America.
John McElliott is also co-founder of Quire Cleveland (Director: Ross W. Duffin), a professional choir’s vibrant performance of choral music both ancient and new reveals the timeless humanity of this art form. He is soloist/section leader in Trinity Cathedral Choir & Trinity Chamber Singers in Cleveland; founding member of Apollo's Singers of Apollo's Fire (Director: Jeannette Sorrell); and former choral scholar of Winchester Cathedral (UK). He currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio. |
