The Italian tenor, Roberto Mattioni, graduated in Guitar (C. Carfagna) and in Singing (Professor A. Vespasiani). He then graduated in Baroque Singing with honors and honors under the guidance of Professor Gloria Banditelli at the Conservatorio "G. Briccialdi" in Terni. He specialized with internationally renowned masters such as Micheal Aspinall, Emma Kirkby and the London Baroque. He has established himself in numerous competitions for lyrical roles.
In 2005 Roberto Mattioni played Don Ottavio in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni. In 2007, after playing supporting roles (Messaggero in Aida, Borsa in Rigoletto), he won the opera competition "La Bottega dell'opera" organized by the "Accademia Lirica Toscana Cimarosa" debuting in September of the same year in the role by Gelindo in L’impresario in angustie by Cimarosa. In March 2008 he played the role of Eupalte in the first modern performance of Piramo e Tisbe by V. Rauzzini. In June 2008 he was a finalist in the competition "Silvano Pagliuca", obtaining eligibility for the role of Pauline in Il Matrimonio Segreto by Cimarosa. In 2009 he won the opera competition "La Bottega dell'opera" organized by the "Accademia Lirica Toscana Cimarosa" and interpreted, in September, the role of the Contino Belfiore in W.A. Mozart's La finta giardiniera. In 2010 he toured England playing the role of Don Basilio in W.A. Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. In 2011 he won the opera competition "Primo palcoscenico" and debuted in October the role of Pauline in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto at the Teatro Bonci in Cesena. In 2012 he sang the oratorios Susanna and Giuditta by P.G. Arcangeli for the first time as part of the "Segni Barocchi" festival in Foligno.
Roberto Mattioni has held numerous concerts in Italy and abroad (Ravenna Festival, Segni Barocchi, Festival Villa Solomei, Festival Beethoven, Innsbrucker Festwochen Der Alten Musik, France, Spain, Austria, England, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Japan) both as soloist (J.S. Mozart: Missa Brevis in G major, Requiem KV 626; Vesperae Solemnes de confessore KV 339; Litaniae Lauretanae de beata Virgine KV 109; Kronungsmesse KV 317; George Frideric Handel: Messiah; Dixit Dominus HWV 232; Nisi Dominus 238; J. Haydn: Stabat Mater; Salve Regina; F. Schubert: Mass in C major D 452 Op. 48; M. Schacchi: Messa Sancta Maria; G. Carissimi: Oratorio della SS.Vergine; G. He recorded for Radio Vaticana and Radio Tre.
Roberto Mattioni has collaborated with the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale "A. Belli" and with the Teatro Marrucino in Chieti. From 2002 to 2006 he sang in the Coro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the baton of conductors as Seiji Ozawa, Myung-Whun Chung, Daniel Oren, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti. |
