The Scottish bass, Colin Mason, moved to England at the age of four. He read music at Oxford, singing in the choir of New College, and graduated in 1979.
Before joining The King’s Singers in 1982, Colin Mason served for two years as a lay clerk in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, where he combined chapel duties with freelance work. He lives in Oxfordshire, dreams of keeping horses one day, and has other interests that include cooking and cross-country running." Colin retired from The King’s Singers in 1987. |
