In the 25 years since the Modern String Quartet (= MSQ) has become one of the most influential ensembles of European crossover scene. The MSQ has been the world where more than a thousand concerts, recorded numerous CDs and working together with notable musicians.
The four musicians who compose their programmes since the beginning of their collaboration, and arrange themselves have, with boundless experimentation developed a distinctive repertoire that builds a connection between jazz and classical music with elements of modernity. In particular, the art of improvisation by the MSQ is maintained with great devotion.
