The French tenor, Cédric Lotterie, began singing at the age of 7. He began his musical studies at the Ecole Maîtrisienne Régionale des Pays de la Loire where he will be taught: vocal technique, music theory, piano, Gregorian and deciphering for eleven hours per week until the third (1987-1995). This training allowed him to acquire a solid experience of choral singing, by participating in concert tours, recordings, operas, ... In October 2008, he attended the singing class of Françoise Semellaz at the Conservatoire de Lille / improvement with Isabelle Desrochers.

Cédric Lotterie has sunbg under such conductors as Bernard Fabre-Garrus, Brertrand Lemaire, Paul Colléaux, Gilles Ragon, Daniel Cuillier, Loic Pierre, Thomas Roullon, Nicole Corti, Jean-Michel Hasler, Bruno Delaitré, Yannick Lemaire, Jean-Claude Malgoire, François-Xavier Roth, ... He is accompanied by Pierre Mervant, former singing teacher at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
In May 2007, Cédric Lotterie sang in the French baroque opera Pirame et Thisbé conducted by Daniel Cuiller, and in March 2008, in the contemporary opera Médea de Dusapin with Mikrokosmos and Les Siècles under the direction of François-Xavier Roth. Having recently been from Lille, he works regularly with La Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy Jean-Claude Malgoire: George Frideric Handel's Messiah in May 2008, L’anima del filosofo by Haydn in February 2009 and Die Schöpfung by Haydn in April 2009. Artist with a complete repertoire, but with a preference for the Baroque period, Cédric Lotterie is a lover of vocal art in all its forms.
In 2008-2009, Cédric Lotterie participated in Atelier des Voix (collaboration between Domaine Musique and Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing; Speakers: Jean-Claude Malgoire, Alita Baldi and Benoît Haller). Since 2016, he is singing teacher: Pierre Mervant. He currently lives in Angers, France. |
