The German tenor, Sebastian Lipp, received his first musical training in the Brandenburg town Eberswalde in piano and singing. Later he studied singing at the Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler".
After finishing his studies, Sebastian Lipp was engaged from 1994 to 1999 as the first tenor in the Chor der Komischen Oper, Berlin. Since 1999 he is a free-lance concert and oratorio singer. Besides he sings as a free member with Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe), with the RIAS Kammerchor, with Rundfunkchor Berlin and the NDR Chor in Hamburg. As a first tenor he is a member of the Atrium Ensembles, Berlin, the Lindenquartetts, Berlin and the Ensemble Rossingnol. |
