The German contralto, Dagmar Linde, received comprehensive musical training in piano and clarinet. Following that, she had intensive, inspired choir work with various chamber and oratorio choirs, connected with many big concerts and choir competitions in European countries and abroad. She decided to become a singer. Studies of singing and church music in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt followed. Privately she studied in Detmold with Heiner Eckels and Dieter Müller, Düren. Participation in master-classes, including with Julia Hamari, Agnes Giebel, Kurt Widmer and Helmuth Rilling, completed her training.
Dagmar Linde’s extensive repertoire covers all epochs of music history, the emphasis lies in Lieder and oratorio. She was finalist in ‘Podium Junger Gesangssolisten’ of the Federation of German Concert Choirs, and has a training order for singing at the Universität Witten/Herdecke. She has had already first opera experience.
Dagmar Linde has participated in CD productions, and is in demand as an interpreter of Lieder recitals and concerts, including Rheingau Festival and Thüringer Bachwochen. |
