The German soprano, Ruth Liebscher, has a broad repertoire, which includes the great oratorios and masses from Baroque to Modern. Since 1995 she has performed with major orchestras, choral ensembles and conductors in major concert halls in Germany (Kölner Philharmonie, Hamburger Musikhalle, Dresdner Kreuzkirche, Beethoven-Halle Bonn und Alte Oper Frankfurt), at renowned music festivals (Rheingau Musik-Festival, Mozartfest Würzburg), and international (Kiev, Lvov, Krakow and Wroclaw). With the Kammerorchester Schloß Werneck and the Bayerischen Rundfunk she made in the last few years, several CD-premiere recordings "Italienische Barockmusik in Franken", which brought her the international press attention.
The pianist Jürgen Plich "discovered" Ruth Liebscher at a performance of J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion (BWV 245), and in the first rehearsal in the spring of 2007, it became clear that music singer and pianist, in an extraordinary artistic match. In the recitals, the duo is looking for individual ways, such as performing typical "men's cycle," as Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe or share Schubert's Winterreise in his programs. |
