The Dutch baritone, Vincent de Leur, studied at Het Assink Lyceum in Haaksbergen (class of 1982). He studied music education ans singing at Amsterdamse HS voor de kunsten in Amserdam (class of 1989). He has studied singing several years, among others with with Max van Egmond.
Since 1995 Vincent de Leur has been active as a semi-professional singer in addition to his work as a project manager of Blazersklas Benelux / Scandinavia Projects at Yamaha Music Europe Band & Orchestra division (since April 2005). He sings in several choirs as guest vocalist on a project basis and has regularly sung as a soloist with, among others, the Bachcantates in Den Bosch and with the Helmonds Vocaal Ensemble. He has a great love for the works of J.S. Bach. His repertoire also includes works by other composers such as Maurice Duruflé's Requiem, Lieder by Carl Loewe, Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann. He is also co-founder of the FBach Koor en Orkest (2010), with which he performed in March 2011 Mass in B minor (BWV 232) conducted by Arjan van Baest. |
