The German soprano and singing teacher, Eva Lebherz-Valentin, received piano and oboe lessons at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt/Main. She was a member of the Kinder- und Figuralchor des Hessichen Rundfunks. She graduated from Goethe-Gymnasium Frankfurt/M, and studied at the der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt/M. (Main subjects: piano, oboe). She passed exam and foundation of a private music school in Frankfurt / M. Successful teaching. In 1988 she got married and moved to Heidelberg. There she had intensive singing studies with Michael Valentin (pupil of Elisabeth Grümmer, Hochschule der Künste Berlin).
Eva Lebherz-Valentin began her singing career in 1988 and lives from her concert activities in Germany and abroad. She has extensive concert activity through all musical eras. In addition to the well-known repertoire (from J.S. Bach's Passions to Haydn's Schöpfung and Verdi's Requiem), she explores extensively the music of the 16th and 17th centuries as well as contemporary music. She articipated numerous world premieres.
Numerous CD productions (Bayer Records, Christophorus, Signum) with extraordinary programs from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Classic and Modern as well as live concert recordings, also of radio and television, testify to her infallible musical sense of style. She contines her lively concert activity and gives private lessons. She is married, and has 3 children. |
