The Rusiian pianist, organist, harpsichordist, and musical director, Ivan Lebedev (Russian: Иван Лебедев), studied Music Theory at Academic College of Music at Moscow Conservatory (Академический Музыкальный Колледж при МГК), also studied Piano (Class of 2006); Music Theory at MGIK - Institute of Culture (МГИК - институт культуры), also studies Harpsichord (since 2015).
Ivan Lebedev is Baroque improviser, Artistic Director and Organist of the Sankt-Joseph-Kapelle Early Music Ensemble in Moscow and and Artistic Director of Klassika Ensemble. He has performed with the Pavel Slobodkin Orchestra and Blogovest choir in several projects, including the Easter Oratorio (BWV 249), the St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244), and Magnificat (BWV 243) by J.S. Bach, Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi and many others. He is the author of several cycles of performances, particularly “Organ-Orchestra”, “Classical music nights”, “Russian Mansion Music”, etc., and has worked together with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra on the creation of children’s musical programs. He is also a producer, art director and arranger in many projects of old, classical and ethnic music.
Ivan Lebedev has also been Liturgical Organist of the Armenian Parish at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Moscow; Pianist and arranger of Moscow ensemble of Jewish song "Dona" (December 2005-December 2011); Music Director & Webmaster at Yiddish Center in Moscow (2006-2008); Music consultant at ANO "Euro-class" (February 2006-May 2007); Artistic Director and Pianist of Pervomay Group in Moscow (2007-2013); Concert Program Consultant of Collegium Musicum Ensemble, Moscow (2013-2016); Artistic Director and Pianist of Ensemble "Yosef-Kapelye" in Moscow (since October 2005); Pianist of Alexey Rozov Orchestra (since 2006); Artistic director and pianist of the "Astor club" ensemble of Ivan Lebedev in Moscow (since 2010); Artistic Director and Organist of Organ Orchestra Duet in Moscow (since May 2013); Artistic Director of Vitamin E Music Club in Moscow (since October 2013). |
