The American violinist and conductor, Gregory Lawrence, earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance (violin) at San Diego State University (1972-1978), after which continued his post graduate studies with Eudice Shapiro at the University of Southern California, and later with Mr. Noumi Fischer at his studio in Glendale.
Gregory Lawrence's professional performing career has afforded him a wonderfully varied background in many different musical genres. He has worked with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Opera, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Starlight Opera, and San Diego Lyric Opera. He also worked three tours with the Montovani Orchestra. He has also worked with Orquesta de Baja in Tijuana, Mexico. He performed at the 'Musica e Arte 2017' festival in Tolentino & Pollenza, Italy. He is the founder (2001), executive and artistic director of the Cabrillo Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to performing, Gregory Lawrence also maintains a private teaching studio is San Diego, California. |
