Tge American tenor, Jonathon Joseph Larson, obtained his Bachelor of ASrts degree in Music from Augustana College in in Rock Island, Illinois (2006-1010); and his Master of Music degree in in Vocal Performance from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois (2010- 2015). Honors & Awards include: First Place Winner at Polish Arts Club of Chicago (April 2013); Finalist at ACPC American Council of Polish Culture's Marcella Sembrich Competition (June 2014).
Jonathon Joseph Larson has performed in professional and university opera companies and choirs, and teach voice and piano. His specialties: Early Music, Baroque Opera, Eastern European Music, Rare Music. He is a freelance tenor in Chicago Area since May 2010, performing as a tenor soloist for operas, choirs, oratorios, etc. Currently singing (in 2016) Don Ottavio in W.A. Jonathon Joseph Larson's musical aticities have included: Tenor Section Leader at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Evanston, Illinois (March-August 2013; sang as as Soloist and Tenor Section leader); Voice and Piano Teacher at Dynamic Music in Glenview Illinois (March-December 2013; taught to children the basic singing and vocal skills required in music); Cantor at Diocese of Joliet, St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Joliet, Illinois (November 2013-April 2015; sang and helped lead Mass through the Music Ministry); Section Leader and Cantor at Archdiocese of Chicago, St. John Berchman (March 2014-Present; sings and helps lead Mass through music and lead the Tenor Section in the church's choir); Cantor and Tenor Section Leader at St. John Berchmans Parish in Chicago (March 2014-Present; cantor and supports the tenor section for the SJB Music Ministries). |
