The Hungarian tenor, Márton Komáromi, studied music at Béla Bartók Institute of Music in Budapest (2008) and University of Miskolc, and graduated from the College of Music in Miskolc.
Márton Komáromi has been a member of the Hungarian Radio Chorus since 2003, of the Purcell Choir for five years, and of the Szent Efrém Men's Choir and the Á la carte Choir for several years. He has also been active as a tenor soloist since 2006. He regularly performs with the Orfeo Orchestra, Szeged Symphony Orchestra, Matthias Church Orchestra, and
he has also worked with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Debrecen Csokonai Theater Orchestra. In collaboration with them, several oratorios were included in his repertoire, including J.S. Bach (e.g., Johannes-Passion BWV 245, Matthäus-Passion BWV 244, Weihnachts-Oratorium BWV 248, Mass in B minor BWV 232, Magnificat in D major BWV 243), Franz Liszt (e.g., Christ Oratorio, Coronation Mass, Esztergom Mass, Requiem, Psalm 13, Psalm 23), J. Haydn (e.g. Creation, The Seasons), W.A. Mozartt (e.g, Requiem, Litany, Coronation Mass), Dvorak (e.g. Stabat Mater), George Frideric Handel (The Messiah). In addition to the oratorios, he also takes part in song evenings, aria evenings and opera cross-sectional performances. |
