The German soprano, Theresa Klose, has been taking piano lessons since she was 6 years old. In addition to an extensive musical education, since 2010 she has also focused on singing. After graduating in music education and German studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and the Universität zu Köln respectively (2014-2016), she has been studying singing in the class of Professor Kai Wessel at the Kölner Musikhochschule since 2016 and graduated in 2020 with top marks. Since then she has continued her training with the soprano Juanita Lascarro in Frankfurt. In October 2022 she will also start postgraduate studies with Professor Thilo Dahlmann at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt.
Concert tours have taken Theresa Klose to England, France, Italy, Norway and the Netherlands, among other places. In Germany, too, she sang on concert and opera stages, such as in the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the "Festival Alte Musik" in Knechtsteden, Kölner Philharmonie, Kölner Dom and Altenberger Dom. In April 2019, together with the Bochumer Symphoniker under the direction of Steven Sloane she could be heard as the Blumenmädchen in Wagner's Parsifal. She has worked with the Cölner Barockorchester and members of the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, among others. She is also a memberof Chorus Musicus Köln (Director: Christoph Spering). She has also been voice coach for the cathedral choirs at Kölner Dom since 2017. Sho currently lives in Cologne, Germany. |
