The German boy soprano, Marcus (or Markus) Klein, sang with the Knabenchor Hannover from the age of 6. He also participated as soloist in many concerts, opera performances, television, broadcasts and recordings, abroad and in his homeland. Besides, Marcus Klein began soon to learn piano playing, and already at eleven-year old started to take piano lessons from Professor Konrad Meister, with whom he studied at Musikhochschule Hannover from 1983 to 1988. After finshing his studies there and getting teachung & concert diploma, Marcus Klein continued his piano studies at the Musikhochschule Zürich in the master class of Homero Francesch. Additionally, he took up an organ lessons with Dr. Bernhard Billeter, whom he likewise finished with teaching & concert diploma.
In addition, Marcus Klein studied audio engeneering at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Zürich and became an audio engineer.
Marcus Klein is prize-winner of Kiwanis, as well as scholarship holder of the Kiefer Hablitzel donation of Schweizerischen Tonkünstlervereins. He lives in Switzerland and is active there, apart from his artistic activities, also in education. |
