The stage director, designer, and musician, Alisdair Kitchen, trained as a pianist at the Royal College of Music, where he was a scholarship holder and earned First Class Bachelor and Masters degrees..
Alisdair Kitchen founded Euphonia Studio in 2011, and has since developed a uniquely diverse career as a multi-disciplinary artist, with a practice encompassing stage direction & design, the visual arts and of course music- making, as a conductor and pianist. Euphonia Studio is resident company at The Drayton Arms Theatre in West London, and continues to enjoy close ties with the Rye Arts Festival, where the company has produced operas for the past six years.
Alisdair Kitchen is a staff pianist for the Royal College of Music Vocal Department and has also acted as assistant director on productions with the RCM Opera School. He is currently reading for a PhD at King’s College, London, where his research focuses on Shakespeare and W.A. Mozart. |
