The Korean choral conductor, Myung-yi Kim (Korean: 지휘 김명이), obtained her Bachelor's degree in choral conducting/minor in vocal performance from the Korea National University of Arts (Class of 2012); her Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the Koninklijk Conservatorium - Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, the Netherlands (2012-2016); and her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt in Germany..
Myung-yi Kim Served as assistant to the First Year Choir at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She was employed as guest conducting by Residentie Bachkoor, Liduinakerk Kammerkoor, Leiderdrops Kammerkoor, etc. She also served as accompanist and assistant at Hochschulchor and Frankfurter Kantorei. Currently she is Assistant Conductor of Collegium Vocale Seoul (since January 2022), Music Director and Conductor of Il Mare Vocale, Guest Deputy Conductor of Wonju Civic Chorale, Ensemble Mooi (음악감독, since June 2021). |
