The German soprano, Carola Keil, studied from 1984 to 1991 music education and arts education (KA) in Lieder making at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart with Professor F. Hessenbruch (singing) and Professor Konrad Richter (Lied class). She also studied German literature at the University of Stuttgart.
Since 1991 Carola Keil is a lecturer for singing and voice training at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Heidelberg. Since 1992 she is a member of the Schola Heidelberg (Director Professor Walter Nussbaum). She has taken part as a soprano in numerous concerts in the oratorio field. Her repertoire includes works from the Renaissance to Contemporary (including works by Lachenmann, Scelsi, Hans Zender, Xenakis, etc.). Radio recordings and CD productions document her artistic activity. |
