James Justice (Tenor)

Born: Erie, Pennsylvania, USA

The American tenor, James Justice, received his early training at the Philadelphia Musical Academy. He studied for the Diploma at Juilliard School of Music in New York and a student in the class of Hans Heinz. As an instrumentalist he was a member of the Erie Philharmonic under Fritz Mahler and as a singer he appeared on various nation-wide television and radio shows, was a vocal soloist with the Seventh Infantry Division Band and in 1954 was national winner of the All -Army Singing Contest.
