The German soprano, Clementine Jesdinsky, studied singing at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf with Professor Ingeborg Reichelt, Michaela Krämer and Celina Lindsey. In 1997 she completed her exam "with honour", followed the concert exam in May 2000. Already during her studies she was busy intensively with Baroque music and works of contemporary composers. She also participated in master-classes with Jessica Cash und Kurt Widmer.
As a soloist Clementine Jesdinsky participated, among other things, in CD productions of the WDR and the MDR (Hermann Max / Rheinische Kantorei, Norbert Schuster / Alte Musik Dresden, Manfred Cordes / Weser Renaissance). She is the soprano of the Baroque ensemble "La Melagrana" (Berlin) and co-founder of the ensemble "Colombine", with which she performed several times Pierrot lunaire by Arnold Schoenberg. Opera appearances beside contemporary operas include Vespetta in Georg Philipp Telemann’s Pimpinone and Belinda (Dido and Aeneas) at the Pucell-Tagen Köln, Euridice in Monteverdi’s Orfeo in a production of the WDR. Clementine Jesdinsky sings for many years regularly as a soloist in concerts of the Collegium Cantorum Köln. In December 2001 and 2002 she participated in J.S. Bach’s Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248). |
