The Austrian guitarist and composer, Helmut Jassbar, studied classical guitar with Robert Wolff at the Conservatory of Vienna as well as with Hubert Käppel at the Music Academy in Köln. Repeatedly prize winner at the “Jugend musiziert”-competition.
Helmut Jassbar's compositions and modern improvisations have appeared with publishers such as Bosworth (Cologne/London) and Edition Margaux (Berlin). Guest at jazz and classical festivals in the USA, Canada, South Africa, Asia and Europe. He has as recorded several Solo-CD’s. He is also a Teacher at the University of Music - Mozarteum in Vienna. |
