Konstantin Igl (Tenor)

Born: Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany

The German tenor, Konstantin Igl, received his first vocal training in the singing class of the tenor Ferdinand Seiler at the Musischen Gnadenthal Gymnasium in Ingolstadt, where he was able to gain decisive stage experience in 2014 in the role of Aeneas in the opera Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell. After graduating from high school, he went on to study mathematics and music eduation, which he completed with the first state examination. During this time he received singing lessons from the soprano Susanne Antonia Starke. Since 2018 he has been studying singing in Christoph Strehl's singing class at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg.

Konstantin Igl is a member of the Philharmonischen Chores München, where he has sung under conductors such as V. Gergiev, M. Honeck, K. Urbanski and Fabio Luisi. As a soloist, he is particularly known as an interpreter of church music in Ingolstadt and Munich.
