The German tenor (and counter-tenor), Marcel Hubner, gained his first musical experience with the Augsburger Domsingknaben. He obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Singing from the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg. He also studied at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (University of Würzburg).
Marcel Hubner is mainly experienced in chamber music, choral music, historically informed performance, lied repertoire, opera repertoire, oratorio repertoire, soloist performances, studio recordings, theatre projects and video / film. He has a lot of experience in ensemble singing and is in demand as a high tenor in many professional choirs, including the Kammerchor Stuttgart (since 2019; Director: Frieder Bernius), LauschWerk (since 2020); Vocalensemble Rastatt (since 2022; Director: Holger Speck); Vokalsolistenensemble Singer Pur (since January 2023); Ensemble Lauschwerk at Bayerische Staatsoper München (since June 2023). |
