This Huberman Trio was founded in 2013, and it is hardly surprising that they named it after a celebrated musician. Bronislaw Huberman (1882-1947) came from a Polish-Jewish family and, performing with his violin in public at the age of seven, was acknowledged as a child prodigy. He counted as one of the most prominent violinists of the 20th century. |

Sándor Jávorkai (Violin)

The Hungarian violinist, Sándor Jávorkai, received his first violin lessons at the age of 3 in Budapest. He received his diploma with distinction from the Viennese University of Music in 2004 where he currently is working on his doctorate. He holds 1st prizes and prizes of distinction from international competitions such as the Emil-Vajda String Instrument Competition; Janos-Koncz violin competition; Carl-Flesch violin comp.; Sarasate Violin Competition; Chamber Music Competition in Thessaloniki and many other.
Leader of the Mozarthaus String Quartet. Concert Master of the Attergau International Orchestral Institute. Sándor Jávorkai has been active as a soloist and appeared with the Berliner Symphoniker, Dresdner Philharmonie, Philharmonie der Nationen, Osaka Philharmonie, Yokohama Sinfonietta, Sinfonietta Baden, Tonkuenstlerorchester, Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra and many others.
Sándor Jávorkai holds regular master courses in Japan, Bulgaria, Austria and Slovenia.
He plays a Guarnieri instrument from the year 1696 |

Tomasz Wabnic (Viola)

The Polish violist, Tomasz Wabnic, studied violin and viola at the Music Academy in Bromberg (Bydgoszcz), later Poznan in the violin class of Professor Jadwiga Kaliszewska to finally move to Vienna and finish his studies with distinction at the Vienna Conservatory in the Viola Class of Professor Herwig Zelle. He also took part in the Chamber music class of the Altenberg Trio (M.A.).
Apart from excelling in violin and viola, Tomasz Wabnic is an active organizer, founding various chamber music ensembles, initiating and promoting their activities. He worked as a member and soloist of the World Chamber Orchestra and Wiener Bachsolisten. Founder of the Morphing Chamber Orchestra and Capella Chestochoviensis. He founded the Fidelio Quartet, which qualified for the final round of the International Chamber Music Competition in Melbourne, Australia.
Tomasz Wabnic recorded numerous CD's for Gramola, Acte Prealable, Musicon, the Autrian Radio and TV (ORF), Polish Broadcast, TV Russia and HRT Croatia to name a few.
in 2013 he founded the Huberman String Trio with the brothers Javorkai. His concert tours have led him through Europe, Australia, South Amercia and Japan. |

Ádám Jávorkai (Violoncello)

The Hungarian cellist, Ádám Jávorkai, began his studies at the Hans Richter Conservatory in Gyor and at the Bela Bartok Conservatory in Budapest, where he finished with distinction. In the years 1996-2004 he studied at the University of Music in Vienna where he also graduated with distinction. Currently he is working on his doctorate in musicology at the University of Vienna.
As a soloist, Ádám Jávorkai has been working regularly with the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra; North Hungary Philharmonic Orchestra; Sofia Soloists; Orchestra of the Arena of Verona; National Philharmonic Orchestra Budapest. He has given solo recitals or as part of a chamber group in the Musikverein Vienna, Konzerthaus Vienna, Berlin Konzerthaus, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Neue Philharmonie Luxembourg, Chopin Festival Gaming, Liszt Academy Budapest and many others.
Ádám Jávorkai has recorded for international Radio- and TV-stations, such as the Austrian broadcasting station Oe1, Radio Stephansdom, Hungarian Radio Bartok, ORF.
He plays a Stradivari-Cello from the year 1701. |
