The Dutch tenor singer and musical theater producer, Paul Hörmann, studied singing at the Conservatory of Utrecht.
Paul Hörmann has appeared in numerous concerts, opera and musical theater performances worldwide. As a performer in Erich Collin "Jetzt oder nie - Die Comedian Harmonists, Teil 2" (premiered in February 2005), he spent several years with the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin and the Theater Bielefeld. He has also appeared at Boston's Cutler Majestic Theatre, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Schlosstheater in the New Palace in Potsdam and the Berlin's Philharmonie. Currently (July-August 2014) he is engaged as "Ari Leschnikoff" first tenor in the theater production "Comedian Harmonists - Luisenburg Festspiele" in Wunsiedel.
Since 2007, Paaul Hörmann is also active as musical theater producer. In the same year he founded the ensemble of soloists TCHAP and organized together with Wilhelm Keitel and the New European Festival a concert series with the Minsk Orchestra and TCHAP. After his encounter with Johannes Heesters in 2008 in Weimar, he came to the idea of creating a musical. To implement this, he founded a company Interperform Creations, and plans under the name "Vaterland", a tour of Germany. |
