Judith Hoff (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Judith Hoff, began her training at the Musikhochschule Köln as a violinist. After graduation in music education and Latin studies, she changed her art major art subject and studied singing with Kammersänger Professor Hans Sotin. Various master-classes with Irvin Gage and Klesie Kelly completed her singing training with the opera literature at its heart.

As a lyric coloratura soprano, Judith Hoff gained stage experience, including guest appearance with the Queen of the Night from W.A. Mozart's Zauberflöte and the title role in Hartmann's 1934 composed opera Simplicius Simplicissimus. Finally, she completed her training with the concert exam, which she artistically led in other directions. Lieder recitals, chamber music, concert and oratorio are now the focus of her musical activity. Through her constant engagement with the music of the 20th Century, she has become in this area a popular performer who is regularly asked for the premieres.
