The German violinist, Anne von Hoff, studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock. First contact with the historical performance practice came under the supervision of Professor G. von Bülow materialize during a chamber music project. There followed numerous courses for Baroque violin and Baroque chamber music, including Reinhard Goebel, Monica Huggett and Elizabeth Wallfisch. An additional study of Baroque violin at the Leipziger Musikhochschule under Stephan Mai followed.
Since then, she has performed, among others with the "Lautten Compagney Berlin, Musica Antiqua Köln, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin at home and abroad and participated in opera productions, CD and radio recordings.
