Roger Henry is a choral conductor, composer, and educator based in Trinidad and Tobago. He began his career in teaching English Language and Literature (undergrad degree), with music as a dedicated hobby on the side. He was a singing member of the Marionettes Chorale in the 1990's, before departing for the USA, where he studied at the Indiana University in Bloomington, doing post-grad degrees in choral conducting, and did a short time in academia while ABD. He worked at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, ITTE, in Southeastern Louisiana University.
In 2012, after completing his doctorate in choral conducting, Roger Henry returned to Trinidad, and became Assistant Professor of Music at The University of Trinidad and Tobago, and Assistant Musical Director with the Marionettes Chorale. He also works as an Instructional Technology Consultant at Indiana University. |
