David Henley (Piano)

Born: Chicago, Illinois, USA

The American pianist, David Henley, was protege to pianist Clara Siegel at DePaul University in Chicago, when he was invited to perform live on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series broadcast over WFMT radio. The concert was broadcast over 100 radio stations nationwide in syndication. The evening following the recital, Henley was asked to perform with the Chicago Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Dieter Kober.

Since, the invitations have mounted for David Henley. The Cincinnati Enquirer dubbed him, "astonishing...a seasoned artist, able to achieve miraculous feats without breaking a sweat. The music seem so natural, so fluid in his hands. This young pianist displays a rare mixture of brilliant technique, style and maturity." In his album of works by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt, this artist displays a powerful technique along with a wide ranging musicality and sensitivity.
