The German organist and harpsichordisdt, Rosalinde Haas, learned to play the great works of organ music at her father's side on the organ bench and was allowed to perform in religious services already at the age of seven. After completing her studies in a special youth program at the Stuttgart Academy of Music, she went to Italy on a DAAD fellowship and received her diploma with distinction at the Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome under Maestro Fernando Germani.
The experienced soloist was the church music director in Frankfurt am Main until 1992. Rosalinde Haas held the post of Professor of Organ at the Robert Schumann Academy in Düsseldorf. Her numerous premieres, radio productions, and LP and CD recordings (including the first complete recordings of the organ works of Max Reger, Paul Hindemith, and Max Baumann) brought her worldwide recognition. |
