The Georgian soprano, Marika Gulordava, studied at the Conservatory of Tbilisi, where she received her diploma in 2008. She has performed in many concerts in Tbilisi and has also participated in various competitions, including the National Georgian Competition of Young Musicians, where she won First Place, the XIII Tchaikovsky International Music Competition, winning third place and the special prize for the best interpretation of Tchaikovsky, the People’s Award, and the Rostropovich Scholarship. In 2007 she won first prize at the Montserrat Caballé International Competition. Between 2009 and 2011 she attended the La Scala Academy of Lyric Opera. |
