Merle Groß (Soprano)

Born: Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, Germany

The German soprano, Merle Groß, began singing in Braunschweig in the Kinder- und Jugendchor Belcanto des Staatstheater, as well as in the Musicalgruppe JuMuBS and later in the Extrachor des Staatstheater. She took singing lessons with Danuta Dulska and obtained her C-certificate as a choir director. After preparing for her studies at the Städtischen Musikschule Braunschweig, she has been studying singing at the Musikhochschule Lübeck since April 2020. She sings in the Braunschweig Jungen Kammerchor Braunschweig under the direction of Richard-Wagner-Verbands Braunschweig former scholarship holder Steffen Kruse and has performed as a soloist in Felix Mendelssohn's Lobgesang at St. Martini Braunschweig under the direction of Richard-Wagner-Verbands Braunschweig board member Hanno Schiefner.
