The German tenor, Ulf Gloede, studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik "Carl Maria von Weber" in Dresden.
After finishinh his studies, Ulf Gloede was engaged at the Landestheater Mecklenburg / Neustrelitz and the Opernhaus Halle. Guest engagements have led him to Amsterdam, Halle (Saale), Kassel, Wuppertal, Rostock, Mainz, Gießen, Görlitz, Nordhausen, Coburg, Freiberg, Brandenburg and Halberstadt. Besides, he has given concerts at Dresdner Musikfestspielen, Bachfest Leipzig, and Sächsisch-Böhmischen Musikfestival, and with various orchestras, such as the Sinfonieorchester Pirna and der Neubrandenburger Philharmonie. He made his debut at Gandersheimer Domfestspiele in 2006
Important opera and operetta roles include: Ferrando, Don Ottavio, Jago in Otello by G. Rossini, Alfredo in La Traviata by G. Verdi, Max in Der Freischütz by C.M.v. Weber, Barinkay in Der Zigeunerbaron by J. Strauss, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss, Graf Zedlau in Wiener Blut by J. Strauss. |
