The Belgian soprano, Cécile Gathoye, has practiced singing since her teens . She complete her classical voice training at the Académie. She obtained her Master degree (appelé Licence) in Psycho at Université libre de Bruxelles (1988-1993).
Cécile Gathoye sings always in chorus under the direction of conductors such as Guy Janssens, Thibaut Lenaerts, etc. She performs both early music and classical music, as well as jazz and French chanson. Since 2012 she is a member of the vocal quartet Les Incongrus (other members: Alto: Anne-Fleur Inizan, Tenor: Johan Fostier, Bass: Stéphane Larçon), and since 2013 she sings soprano in Mélio Mélo.
