The Swiss pianist and organist, Daniel Fuchs, studied at the Geneva Conservatory; later piano with Edith Fischer and organ with Jean-Jacques Grünenwald and Marie-Claire Alain in Paris.
Daniel Fuchs is organist in Lausanne and teaches piano at the Geneva Conservatory. He has made numerous recordings, including the piano works of Jehan Alain. Fuchs has a vast repertoire of music of the 20th and 21st centuries from Arnold Schoenberg, Ravel, Béla Bartók and Arthur Honegger to contemporary compositions. |
