The American baritone, Terry Dwyer, taught voice at Union College and at the Arts Center in Schenectady, New York, and was also broadcaster for WFMT-HM. Since coming to Albany area (New York) in the fall of 1975, he sang the role of Ben in the Capital Artists Opera Company production of Mennoti’s The Telephone, performed song recitals (by George Frideric Handel, Hugo Wolf, Gabriel Fauré and Mussogsky) with the pianist Hugh Allen Wilson at Union College and at several area schools, was guest artist with the Monday Musical Club (March 1976), and did the role of Caspar in Der Freischütz at the State University with the Albany Orchestra and Chorus. In 1994, he gave a recital with the pianist Paula Ennis for Friends of Music of Stamford New York (1994). |
