Olena Duminika (Buzuki, Domra)

Born: May 11, 1975 - Luck, Ukraine

The Ukrainian buzuki and domra (long-necked folk string instrument of the lute family) player, Olena Duminika (Estonian: Алёна Думиника), studied at the Одесская государственная музыкальная академия им. А.В. Неждановой (Odessa State Music Academy named after. A.V. Nezhdanova) (1995-2002). She is assistant teacher at Tallina Kadaka Põhjakool (Kadaka Primary School in Tallinn) since October 2019. She is also director of the folk instrument ensemble, Ansambli Dibrova in Talinn. She currently lives in Tallinn, Estonia.
