The German pianist, Rüdiger Dippold, studied church music in Regensburg, afterwards piano and chamber music with Kirsti Hjort von der Goltz at the Musikhochschule Würzburg. He had further studies with Elza Kolodin in Freiburg and courses with Thamás Vasary, Roberto Szidon as well as Ludwig Hoffmann.
Rüdiger Dippold has an extensive repertoire with emphasis on J.S. Bach, Franz Liszt, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Sergei Rachmaninov. He focuses his piano concerts around a subject, such as organ works transcribed for piano, Franz Liszt's recitatives, early piano concertos, etc. |
