The French violinist and organist, Emmanuelle Dauvin, took an early interest in the repertoire and the interpretation of works from the 17th and 18th centuries. She studied Baroque violin at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Mira Glodeanu and at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Amandine Beyer.
Emmanuelle Dauvin quickly joined various ensembles specializing in early music repertoires such as Le Parlement de Musique (Director: Martin Gester), Les Agrémens (Director: Guy Van Waas), La Chapelle Harmonique (Director: Valentin Tournet), Le Stagioni (Director: Paolo Zanzu), Orfeo 55 (Director: Nathalie Stutzmann), Le Poème Harmonique, La Chapelle Rhénane, Les Talens Lyriques (Director: Christophe Rousset), Ensemble Ausonia and Les Arts Florissants (Director: William Christie). Since 2015, she has been a member of the trio La Nef des Fous which performs at the Bruges and Utrecht festivals, at the Sinfonia Festival in Périgord and at the Hôtel de Soubise in Paris.
Emmanuelle Dauvin has performed in France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Romania, Spain and Mexico: Festival Resonanzen, Vienna Konzerthaus, Teatro Real de Madrid and Guanajuato, Festival de Saint-Michel en Thiérache, Sinfonia en Périgord, Chamber Music Festival Tallin, National Museum of Bucharest, Cluj Philharmonie Festival Musical de Namur, Opéra de Liège, Spa Festival, MA Bruges, Oudemuziek Utrecht, Flagey (Brussels), Cité de la Musique, Opéra Comique (Paris), Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, Versailles Concerts, Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet... She currently lives in Avignon, France. |
