Richard Welland Crowell is a musician, photographer, artist, stage actor and linguist with a PhD in Classical Studies from Boston University (1994). He was trained as an artist at the École des Beaux-Arts in Reims, France, and as an actor at the Ted Liss Studio in Chicago. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona but currently resides in Rhode Island, where he is in the process of retiring as Mr. Mom and embarking on a new career as a musician/composer.
Richard Crowell recently released an electronic album of the Goldberg Variations (BWV 988), arranging them for instruments other than the usual piano or harpsichord. His next project is an album of Scarlatti's late sonatas. |
