Tatiana Costiuc (Soprano)

Born: December 3, 1981 - Orhei, Republic of Moldova

The Moldovan soprano, Tatiana Costiuc, studied at the Liceul Republican de Muzică "C. Porumbescu", choral conducting specialty, after which he graduated from Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice (AMTAP) (Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees), academic singing specialty, in Professor L. Pelin and Mihail Muntean's class. Since 2019 she is a PhD student in the same institution. She is a laureate of National and International Competitions, including: International Arts Festival-Competition 2005, 2006 (North Korea, Gold Cup, Golden Pound); "Alexei Stârcea" International Academic Singing Competition (2nd Prize, 2004), nowadays she is the Jury Member of the Competition. Since 2007 she holds the Municipal Prize for Youth in Arts Field.

Tatiana Costiuc began working as a soloist at the Filarmonicii Naționale "Serghei Lunchevici" in 2013. She was awarded the honorary title of Master of Art in 2015. In 2015, she was awarded the honorary title of Master of Arts. She has been a professor at the Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice since 2004. Artistic career of the soloist collaborations with the Orchestra Simfonică a Companiei de Stat "Teleradio Moldova", Orchestra Națională de Cameră of Organ Hall, Orchestra Simfonică a Filarmonicii Naţionale "Serghei Lunchevici "; "Doina", "Moldova", "Renaissance" Choral Chapels, the National Chamber Choir from Moscow; as well as wonderful collaborations with such conductors as: M. Secichin, G. Mustea, S. Popov, T. Zgureanu, V. Garștea, V .Ciolac, O. Filip, I. Stepan, M. Agafiţa, Cristian Florea (Spain), V. Minin (Russia), C. Ward (Great Britain), P. Strub (Germany), Mindru Katz (France) , D. Talpain (France), M. Holiartok (Romania) and the composers: T. Zgureanu, V. Ciolac, Z. Tcaci, N.și V. Ciolac, O. Palymsky, C. Rusnac.

Tatiana Costiuc performs successfully in many concerts and festivals, including: "Mărțișor" Festival, New Music Days Festival, 2003 2004 and 2011 editions; Gala Concert within the "Invită Maria Biesu" Festival 2004, "Schubertiada" Festival, 2009 (USA). She was awarded with "The Best Soloist of Organ Hall" for the 2009-2010 Concert Season; honorary citizen of the Orhei municipality, 2021; Musical Excellence Gala ("Maria Bieșu" Prize, 2022).

A special importance owns the soprano accomplishments during the premiere performances in Chișinău: the titular role of Pamina in W.A. Mozart's opera Die Zauberflöte (September 2006); R. Gliere's Concerto for Coloratura Soprano and Orchestra (July 2006); Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 14; J. Haydn's Oratorio The Seasons, A. Salieri's Requiem; J. Haydn's Oratorio The seven last words of our savior on the cross; the role of Servilia in W.A. Mozart's opera La clemenza di Tito (2011); J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor BWV 232 (2011); Franz Liszt's Coronation Mass (2011). She currently lives in Orhei, Moldova.
